Declan Ganley

Declan J. Ganley is an entrepreneur in Europe and the US.  He founded several wireless broadband and cable TV businesses in Europe and the US, including Broadnet, Cabletel, and Rivada Networks. In the early 1990s, he created one of the largest private forestry companies in the Former Soviet Union.  He was awarded JCI Entrepreneur of the year titles in 2001 and 2005.  He received the Louisiana Distinguished Civilian Service Medal in 2006.  He was presented the Michal Tosozsky Prize in 2008 in the Czech Republic.  He was awarded the Forde Jacobsen Prize in Denmark in 2009.
